Karen J. Cynn joined Salisbury, Lee & Tsuda, LLP from a mid-sized firm in downtown Los Angeles. She has been practicing family law since 2007. Ms. Cynn graduated from Smith College in Massachusetts with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, concentration in Statistics and attended Villanova University School of Law where she was a managing editor of the Villanova University Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.
Karen’s focus is negotiation and settlement. She approaches cases with settlement motivated resolution and uses litigation when it is necessary rather than as a weapon. She understands that this is a sensitive time and that she is assisting clients who are going through a difficult transition. Her role is as an advocate, an advisor, and an educator to ensure that her clients understand their options so they can make informed decisions for themselves. She is passionate about efficiency in her cases and avoids needless discovery or litigation, but is committed to completing her due diligence and enthusiastically advocating for her client’s rights so she will not hesitate to fully engage in complex discovery tactics or full litigation when necessary to ensure that her clients achieve the best possible result.
Karen’s practice includes all aspects of family law. She volunteers as a Court-appointed settlement officer with the Los Angeles Superior Court. She is licensed to practice before all State Courts in California.
